How we compared them
We build Botcadence, an AI chat and voice agent platform, and we rank it first; the other seven are the WhatsApp platforms businesses compare us with. Every price was read on the vendor's own pricing page on November 6, 2026 and links to it; Wati, Interakt and AiSensy price in rupees for the Indian market and we show their figures as published. Meta partner status is stated only where the vendor's page shows the badge. We judged: whether the AI answers from your own documents, which channels share the plan, markup on Meta's fees, seats and contact limits, and what it costs at a typical small-business volume.

The questions that decide it
- Does the AI answer from your documents or from a flow you build? Botcadence, AiSensy's AI agent and BotPenguin's AI answer from uploaded content; Chatfuel, Wati and Interakt lean on flow builders with AI credits.
- Which channels share the plan? If customers also write on your website and Instagram, a platform that runs one agent across them saves a second subscription. The WhatsApp chatbot page lists what Botcadence connects.
- Who owns the number? Every platform here uses Meta's Cloud API; ask whether you can move the number and templates out. Botcadence supports transfers from another provider and coexistence with the WhatsApp Business app.
- Markup or pass-through? Chatfuel adds 10 percent; Botcadence, Interakt, AiSensy and BotPenguin state none, respond.io bills Meta's fees separately, and Wati and SleekFlow don't say.
- Seats and contacts. respond.io and SleekFlow charge per monthly active contact above the plan; Interakt and AiSensy advertise unlimited.
- You are in India and run large broadcast campaigns: Wati, Interakt or AiSensy, priced in rupees for that market.
- Your team lives in a multi-channel inbox with SLAs and reporting: respond.io or SleekFlow.
- You already run Messenger and Instagram flows in Chatfuel: add WhatsApp there.
- You want the cheapest possible bot for low volume: BotPenguin's free tier.
