Last updated: February 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Botcadence ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects the personal information of visitors and users of our website and services. If you have additional questions or require more information about our Privacy Policy, contact us at connect@botcadence.com.

This Privacy Policy applies to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with respect to information shared or collected on https://botcadence.com. This policy is not applicable to information collected offline or through channels other than this website, unless otherwise stated.

Consent

By using our website or services, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

At the point we ask for personal information, we will make clear what information is required and why. Examples of information we may collect include:

  • Contact information you provide directly (name, company name, address, email address, telephone number).
  • Account registration details.
  • Information you include when you contact us (message contents and any attachments).
  • Usage and technical information collected automatically (IP address, browser type, device information, referring/exit pages, date/time stamps), as described under "Log Files".

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for purposes including, but not limited to:

  • Providing, operating, and maintaining our website and services.
  • Improving, personalizing, and expanding our website and services.
  • Understanding and analyzing how you use our website.
  • Developing new products, services, features, and functionality.
  • Communicating with you (customer support, updates, marketing and promotional purposes) only with your consent where required.
  • Sending emails on your behalf, if you authorize an email integration.
  • Detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues.

Google API Data Usage (Including Gmail Integration)

We may request access to Google user data when you choose to integrate your Google account with our services. This may include access to the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send permission to enable sending emails from your Google account via our platform.

Key points about this integration:

  • Purpose & Scope. Access to Google account data is used solely to enable the Gmail send functionality you explicitly authorize (for example, sending emails or notifications using your connected Gmail account). We request only the minimum permissions necessary to perform the requested action (e.g., send email on your behalf).
  • What data we access. We may access your Google account identifier and the email content that you instruct us to send (recipients, subject, message body, attachments you supply to be sent). We do not read or store your other Gmail messages or inbox contents unless you explicitly request features that require additional access and you give separate consent.
  • No sharing with third parties. We do not sell, rent, share, transfer, or otherwise disclose Google user data to any third party for their own use. Google user data accessed through the Gmail API is used solely within our systems to provide the functionality you have requested. The only exceptions are (a) where we are required by law to disclose data, or (b) when you expressly instruct us to share data with a named third party (in which case we will tell you which data is shared and why).
  • Limited Use & Compliance. We handle Google user data in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy (including Limited Use requirements). We will not use Google user data for advertising, unauthorized analytics, or unrelated AI training.
  • Revoking access. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account settings and/or from within your Botcadence account settings. Revoking access will prevent future actions but does not necessarily remove copies of data already processed by us; you may request deletion as described below.
  • Retention. We retain Google user data only as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by law. Where we retain content you asked us to send, we will make this retention policy transparent in account settings or feature documentation.
  • Security. Google user data is processed and stored securely (see "Security" below). Access is limited to authorized personnel who need access to perform their role.

*(In this section "Google" refers to Google as the provider of the Google APIs.)

Log Files

We use log files that record visitors' activity. Information collected may include IP addresses, browser type, ISP, date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and click count. This data is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movement on the website, and gather demographic information. Log data is not linked to personally identifiable information unless required for security or legal reasons.

Cookies and Web Beacons

Advertising Partners & Third Parties

We may use third-party services (for analytics, payment processing, hosting, etc.). Where we engage third parties, we limit the data shared to what is necessary for them to provide their service and require contractual protections. We do not share Google user data with any third-party for their independent use. For details about third-party practices, please review their privacy policies.
